HDM Engineering Services Ltd is preparing to move into new premises as part of an expansion programme that is already creating a number of new jobs within the company.
HDM, which specialises in manufacturing & servicing of baling machines and conveyor equipment, will move its manufacturing base from Shawclough Trading Estate to a 15,000sq ft workshop at Hollows Chapel, Shawclough Road, Rochdale; just 300 yards from the current location. The expansion comes off the back of a number of lucrative deals over the past two years and is expected to be complete in the New Year.
HDM’s managing director Andrew Dell said:
“It’s a huge step forwards for us. The new workshop will give us the space and facilities we need to keep growing and servicing the industry.
In three months we’ll be in our new premises which will be fully kitted out with machinery and we’re looking forward to maintaining our momentum. We’re a proud North West company and that means it’s particularly gratifying to commit to a new property and new jobs here”.
This expansion brings HDMs current staff number up to fourteen including two apprentices Aaron Davies and Matthew Dell who will play a key role in the future of the company. The new premises will accomodate continual growth and expansion for HDM.
